The Ontario College of Teachers (Oct) is the regulatory higher for the teaching profession in Ontario and is the largest cocky-regulatory body in Canada.^{[ citation needed ]} It was established on xx May 1997.^[three] The college'southward mandate is to license, govern and regulate the practice of teaching.
